~Hayami Kohinata 「H2O-Footprints in the Sand」 小日向はやみ~
Totally enjoyed the anime and by the time the anime ended, this figure was pretty much long gone from the normal places except for ebay. Thankfully, I was able to get her thanks to one kind soul who decided to give her up for me xD
Once more, lovely anime and I urge those who haven’t to try it. I’m actually quite tempted to grab the PC game for H2O even ^^; But really, I’m a sucker that likes anything easily, so take whatever I say with more than a pinch of salt :p
Quite a simple, no-frills figure, but that suits me just fine really. 3 pegs in total and the windmill toy can be removed if you’d like, though it’s really pretty significant in the story.
Hayami chan~~~~!
Hair is nicely done, with her hair bands pretty sweet as well. The windmill toy is done nicely though it fits a tad too loosely for my liking. Would have been nicer if there was a firm grip on it.
Very nice sculpt for her dress. It’s simple but perhaps I’ve grown accustomed to it so I wouldn’t have it any other way really.
Lots of nice folds in the lower part of the dress. The ends of the dress are done nicely as well.
Shoes are sweet. Base as well. It’s just one circular disc, but the color on it doesn’t make it boring at all.
Not too many scenes this time, mostly because there’s better ones out there. Do check out aka_ugly’s photos of Kohinata at his flickr. Totally miss his brand of humor and sweet photos, luckily there’s always flickr to fall back on ^^ Kohinata’s a really nice grab for me, since I really enjoyed the anime. And since it’s Good Smile producing her, quality concerns are never really an issue.

The series were interesting but I think they kinda exaggerated in the end. Don’t think they’ll release the rest of the cast because this figure came out before the series were launched
@Belela-san: It always had supernatural tones to the story, so it didn’t feel too exaggerated for me actually. I’m more a person that prefers happy endings too, so even if the whole world has to be flipped turned upside down just so there’ll be a happy ending, I’ll happily accept that xD
With regards to the other characters, if no reputable company would pick them up for production, I think that would be for the best. Rather than having the whole cast mangled up (Atelier Sai’s Shuffle comes to mind here), I rather have just one done well ^^
Lol true. Well I’m one that prefers happy endings as well ^_^
Shot1, beautiful! I love how the sky really looks like a sky this time around, excellent job! This figure looks really tall… I like! ^^
When did you buy this one?
wooo.. she looks cute! detail’s good too..
this figurine is plain but pretty, simple but elegant
and great job for the sky diorama, it suits her well!
Plain but cute, nice grab. Maybe the plainer it is the less likely of a bad paint job ;p. The background is beautiful, brings tears to my eyes T-T lol.
Love this figure!!! I like the H2O series. The figure looks great!!! I might consider getting it…
@Radiant: Thanks, I was hoping the sky would turn out well too, thankfully it didn’t end up too shabby ^^; Got this figure a few days b4 the post was done.
@Prim3: Yeppers, luckily for me the seller was agreeable on giving her up to me, else I probably would never have gotten around to getting her =)
@ron~: Made up the diorama with the last scene in mind, if there was a way to combine a wind element into it, that would have been the best I think ^^
@AS: Haha, true, it should be harder to foul up with a simple design, but somebody should tell that to A.Sai probably :p
@Rin: I really liked the series after watching the anime too, which probably spurred me to try and get the figure since i remember aka_ugly’s lovely shots of her in the past before the anime. Hayami’s a nice figure to have, do give her some thought =)
